"Surprise" Mike meets his Grandson Baby Brayden at the Hospital 8-31-13

Well Surprise, Surprise, Surprise.  Yesterday I got a call from Katelyn, Mike's daughter that lives in Colorado Springs with her new hubby Codi and 2 week old baby boy, Brayden Christopher.  She had the idea of flying in to surprise her Daddy.  Mike and I were suppose to meet Baby Brayden on July 25th while on our motorcycle trip to  Milwaukee, WI. Obviously we had to cancel that trip, thus missing out on seeing Brayden as a newborn. Sad times for MC feeling like he was missing out on seeing his first Grand baby!  

Katelyn grabbed a ticket out of Denver with Baby Brayden and they landed here in Portland about 10:15 pm.  Madison, Mike's other beautiful daughter, picked them up and brought them over to the hospital.  With some creativity and a little planning we managed to pull off a really big surprise when the girls and Brayden entered the room.  I had Madison's phone / camera so I was able to video tape and take pictures at the same time.  Multitasking at it's finest.
